Our stabilization reagent products offer a permanent insitu solution for remediation of soils contaminated with heavy metals, including sediments.

River Sediment Heavy Metals Treatment - Big River - Missouri

USEPA recently completed a field demonstration project to treat lead contaminated sediment and soils in and along the Big River near Desloge, Missouri. The Agency along with an approved EPA consultant and contractor selected Free Flow Technologies, Ltd. (Free Flow) as the chosen vendor to supply the treatment reagent for this project. As a result of Free Flow's successful track record for treating numerous sites in Missouri on related lead contamination projects, Free Flow was determined to be technically effective, cost efficient and the right fit for this application.

Bench Scale Treatment Studies (BSTS)

Our BSTS help us identify appropriate chemistry, formulation, dosages and pricing options.

We use applied chemistry laboratories for conducting research on new blends and performing treatment studies.

These labs are equipped with the necessary facilities to continually research new blends for Free Flow by taking advantage of available products. BSTS allow development of site specific blends for Free Flow clients resulting in increased efficiency and cost reduction.

Free Flow’s bench scale treatment studies provide the following:

  • evaluation of untreated samples
  • identification of appropriate treatment chemistry
  • testing series using varying treatment dosages
  • comprehensive analysis report
