Free Flow has completed an ART well remediation system installation for a major industrial facility located in Indiana. The system was installed for use as a cutoff wall to prevent a large benzene plume from leaving the property. Free Flow installed the down-hole equipment for eleven 70-foot deep ART wells and assisted with start-up of the remediation system.
In October 2009, Free Flow’s Corrective Action Plan using a nine ART well remediation system to clean up soil and groundwater petroleum impacts at three off-site properties located in DeKalb, Illinois had been approved by the Illinois EPA. Free Flow has been awarded to design, install, and perform operation, maintenance, and monitoring of this system. The remediation system will be housed in a trailer for use at other sites after the cleanup objectives have been achieved. The system trailer is currently being constructed and on-site installation/startup of the ART remediation wells is expected in the beginning of 2010.
